Gamma Ray Arrays
The NPG has both designed and installed other arrays of gamma-ray detectors in overseas laboratories. These arrays use the detectors from the TESSA spectrometers that were used at the NSF.
Tardis
The group designed the TARDIS array and were involved in the installation and commissioning at its first experiment at the ISOLDE facility, CERN. A portable data acquisition system has been designed to accompany this equipment. TARDIS is currently located at the University of Jyväskylä, Finland.
TESSA at Louvain-La-Neuve
The NPG designed, built and installed a gamma-ray array of TESSA detectors at Louvain-La-Neuve, Belgium which was recently used to perform the first fusion evaporation gamma-ray experiment with a radioactive beam.
AYEball
The NPG designed the array known as AYEball which was used at the target position of the Fragment Mass Analyser (FMA) at Argonne National Laboratory.
