This screen allows the hardware configuration file (normally AGATADigitizerConfig.tcl) to be updated. Each row in the table will correspond to 1 AGATA Digitizer hardware box. Detector A name at the choice of the user which will be used on various of the screens to identify the selected Digitizer electronics unit. Address The IP address assigned to the Xport on the Digitizer core module. This may be a name but that name must be known to the network tables of the workstation running this software. Port The IP port assigned to the Xport. Normally this will be 10001 (the default value within the firmware). Active If "ticked" then this entry is in use. If not "ticked" it will be ignored so you can use this for digitizers which have been removed temporarily without having to delete them from the configuration tables. Check If not "ticked" it will be assumed that the digitizer is complete and all modules are operational. If ticked then the digitizer hardware should be checked (see "Probe Hardware" in the various screen) and only those modules for which a correct response is received will be added to the module (FPGA) menu. This allows selected digitizer modules to be tested. "Save Configuration to disc" Causes the hardware configuration file (normally AGATADigitizerConfig.tcl) to be updated. It is now possible to activate the new hardware configuration without restarting the server. Firstly it is recommended that you close all windows (tabs) related to the AGATA Digitizer Controls except the main window (AGATA Digitizer: Control). In this window click on the Reset button (bottom row of buttons). The software will be reinitialised and the hardware related menus change to the new configuration. You can now continue.
