This register defines the number of samples to be output in the waveform buffer. The value should be even and the maximum value allowed is 128K. If set to zero no waveform data will be saved. See also the "Oscilloscope Mode" in the Configuration register.
The value written to the hardware register is Nsamples/2

1 sample is equivalent to 4ns.
