Here is a diagram which shows the components of the data acquisition system and the interconnections. The data flow follows the DT32 bus readout (green arrows) from the VXI crates to the event builder. The formatted data is then broadcast via the data network to the tape server where it is written to tape. The user interface, control and online data analysis is from the cluster of workstations and PCs.
