By default the number of channels displayed is reduced by a factor of 2 for single actions. +widget TIMES2 Expands counts scale This is a shortcut to the "times2" menu item in the "View" menu. Using button 1 causes one Scale operation. Using button 3 causes repeated Scale operations at a frequency and factor which can be set via the Preferences (View) menu. 1d histograms The range of the vertical axis is rescaled thus increasing the heights of the displayed counts. Just click on the button to toggle between the available options. Mode new Sets the frame into the "new" display mode. In this mode the "Show" function (used to display new histograms) will perform an implicit "Clear" operation (that is remove all existing displayed histograms) before laying out the new histograms. Mode add Sets the frame into the "add" display mode. In this mode the "Show" function appends the new histograms to any existing histograms. This mode allows you to build up a set of displayed histograms incrementally. The existing histograms are rearranged in the frame to accommodate the new ones. Mode overlap Sets the frame into the "overlap" display mode. In this mode the "Show" function draws each selected histogram in the currently selected histogram display box. This allows you to closely compare similar histograms. On a colour screen the 16 colours available in the "1d overlay colours" menu item of the "Analysis" menu are used to distinguish the histograms. The name and title (if any) of the currently selected histogram within an overlapped display box appears at the top right of the display box. +widget SLICEMODE Click to toggle 2D slicing on or off +widget DISPLAYMODE Click to switch between histogram display styles The "Display Mode" option button allows you to switch between displaying the histograms using linear y scaling and logarithmic y scaling.
